2019 Soccer Season Details
About Connect Sports Soccer
Connect Sports Soccer was created to foster the development of Christian faith, character and leadership in our youth while teaching the fundamentals of Soccer. While participating in Connect Sports Soccer students will learn the basics of ball handling and dribbling, passing and receiving. They will learn defensive plays and offensive plays during practice and perform what they learn during each game. They have approximately nine practices and seven games throughout our Soccer season.
Rules are our first building blocks to learning the game of soccer. Athletes need to understand the rules and why they are important. Learning sportsmanship is essential for any successful athlete. Our coaches strive to instill sportsmanship with a competitive spirit with their players.
Our philosophy is born from the belief that God's great love calls us to compete with integrity and to demonstrate discipline in the context of competition. We believe that by pursuing excellence, student athletes learn character lessons, and our competitiveness drives us to be all we can be for the glory of God.
Online registration opens April 1, 2019. Practices begin week of June 17th - 7-week season begins Saturday, July 14th.
All games played at Eden Brethren. For children 3 years old thru 6th Grade
2019 Season Schedule:
Evaluations are May 9th, 10th & 11th. Thursday & Friday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Saturday from 10:00am to 11:30am. Practices start the week of June 17th. The first game is on July 13th.
The End of Season Celebration and last game will be August 24th.
All practices and games are at Eden United Brethren at 1938 Eden Road, Mason, MI 48854
How to Register:
Cost per player is $75.00 and $65.00 per additional player. Registration is closed. Please contact Michelle Peterson for further information.
